ENG W vs SA W Dream11, EN W vs SA W Dream11 Prediction, ENG W vs SA W 2nd ODI, Dream11 Prediction 2022

England leads the series 1-0 after their victory in the first ODI and will be eyeing a series-clinching victory in the second ODI in Bristol.

The England Women’s team completed a routine victory in the ODI series opener of a three-match series against South Africa. The hosts chased South Africa’s total of 218 with five wickets and almost 18 overs to spare, riding on young opener Emma Lamb’s splendid maiden ODI century and Nat Shiver’s belligerent all-round display.

South Africa, on the other hand, will be pondering over the poor batting display by their top order batters as they were reeling at 108/5 and only managed to reach a respectable score of 218 after a 98-run stand between lower order batters Chloe Tyron and Nadine de Klerk. Tyron missed out on a well-deserved century after being dismissed for a brisk 73-ball 88.

Pitch Report:

The Bristol County Ground, home to Gloucestershire Cricket Club, is a high-scoring ground with the pitch favouring the batters as it has a good carry and bounce. The new ball bowlers might find some joy with early movement off the pitch but are likely to struggle on this batting-friendly surface. The team winning the toss might opt to bowl first as chasing will be easier once the surface has settled down.

Probable Playing XI:

England Women:

Emma Lamb, Tammy Beaumont, Sophia Dunkley, Natalie Sciver, Heather Knight (c), Danielle Wyatt, Amy Jones (wk), Sophie Ecclestone, Katherine Brunt, Charlotte Dean, Kate Cross

South Africa Women:

Andrie Steyn, Laura Wolvaardt, Lara Goodall, Sune Luus (c), Marizanne Kapp, Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Trisha Chetty (wk), Tumi Sekhukhune, Ayabonga Khaka, Nonkululeko Mlaba

Top Performers:

Natalie Sliver:

England’s experienced all-rounder is in scintillating form with the bat lately as she is heading into the second ODI on the back of an explosive half-century in the first ODI, following a magnificent 169* in the drawn one-off Test against the visitors. She looks unstoppable at the moment and the South African bowlers would do well to get rid of her cheaply.

Katherine Brunt:

England’s veteran bowling all-rounder is quite a handful in these conditions and showcased her bowling prowess in an impressive outing in the series opener against the visitors, returning with brilliant figures of 3/18 in her nine overs. With 180 wickets to her name in ODI cricket, the 37-year-old is the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the format and just needs ten wickets to move up to third place.

Top Captain and Vice-Captain Choice for your Small League team:

Captain – Natalie Sciver, Marizanne Kapp

Vice-Captain – Tammy Beaumont, Shabnim Ismail
