Birmingham Phoenix (BPH) are set to host champions Southern Brave (SOB) in the 8th match of The Hundred 2022 at the Edgbaston in Birmingham on Wednesday. Birmingham Phoenix reached the finals last season after finishing group stages at top of the league table. But they kicked off this season with a big 6-wicket defeat against Trent Rockets. Southern Brave won the first edition of the Hundred tournament by beating Birmingham in the finals. They started this season with a nine-wicket win against Welsh Fire in the opening match.
