Production Details Still Await Confirmation

While the broadcast rights have shifted from Star Sports to Sony Sports, the production partner for the Asia Cup is yet to be finalized. In past editions, Star Sports handled both production and broadcast. However, with Sony Sports acquiring the rights for the next eight years, it’s still unclear whether they will oversee production responsibilities or outsource them to a third-party firm.

According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, Sony’s future production involvement is currently under discussion. This delay is not expected to affect the broadcasting quality, but final confirmation is expected soon.
