In a formal announcement, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that Nasir had met all terms of the suspension, including mandatory Anti-Corruption Education. The sanction, which was originally imposed in September 2023, came with a six-month active suspension period and additional conditions for a full two years.

“Nasir Hossain has now fulfilled all requirements, including completing the mandatory Anti-Corruption Education session. This has paved the way for his eligibility to re-enter official cricket as of April 7, 2025,” the BCB stated in an official release.
