The ICC has unveiled the full schedule for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Hosted by Bangladesh, the 10-team tournament will take place from October 3 to October 20 this year.
India Women, who made it to the semifinals of the 2023 tournament, are in Group A with defending champions Australia and arch-rivals Pakistan. New Zealand and a Qualifier team complete the group.

The ninth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is set to take place in Bangladesh from October 3 to October 20, 2024. This exciting tournament will feature 10 teams, with each team playing four group stage matches. Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, leading up to the final on October 20. It promises to be a thrilling competition, showcasing the best of women’s cricket on the global stage.
In Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, we have Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Qualifier 1. Group B, on the other hand, comprises South Africa, England, West Indies, hosts Bangladesh, and Qualifier 2.
India Women will kick off their campaign on October 4 with a match against New Zealand in Sylhet. Following this, they will take on Pakistan on October 6, Qualifier 1 on October 9, and Australia on October 13. The ICC unveiled the complete schedule for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 on May 5 in Bangladesh. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana were present at the ceremony, along with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
